The invention relates to a device for the extracorporeal destruction of germs and peroxide formation in human and animal blood in conjunction with a transfusion bottle, an ozone storage vessel (1) being provided which is subdivided into two chambers (3, 4) by a sliding piston (2). After charging one chamber (3) with ozone, the exactly defined amount is forced into the infusion and transfusion bottle by displacement of the piston (2), a vacuum being generated in the bottle via a further circulation with interposition of the pump sump (16), a special filter (9) and a pump (15). If the ozone is not collected from an upstream ozone generator, as in the case described, the blood oxygenised in a first bottle can be subjected to UV radiation in a second bottle and thus to a subsequent ozonisation, in order to be re-infused into the human or animal body thereafter. <IMAGE> |
