An apparatus for spinal fixation and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce loss of raw material by minimizing a wasted cutting chip and to improve a production speed by processing a head unit and a screw at the same time. A method for manufacturing an apparatus for spinal fixation includes the steps of: processing a head unit of the apparatus for spinal fixation for supporting a rod; processing a screw of the apparatus for spinal fixation inserted into spines; and fixedly coupling the head unit and the screw, wherein the monotype apparatus for spinal fixation is formed by separately processing and fixedly coupling the head unit and the screw unit. The step of processing the head unit includes the steps of: processing an external form of the head unit by cutting raw material; and processing a coupling hole to insert one end of the screw. The step of processing the screw includes the steps of: processing a screw thread(22) on an outer circumferential surface of the screw by cutting the raw material; and processing a coupling member on an end to be inserted into the coupling hole and fixed.
