摘要 A brake control method of a hybrid electric car is provided to secure control stability by preventing an oil pressure and a recovery brake amount from being rapidly varied. A brake control method of a hybrid electric car includes the steps of: grasping a required brake amount of a driver according to a brake pedal depression degree sensed in a brake switch by a brake controlling unit; supplying a maximum recovery brake allowable amount by calculating the maximum recovery brake allowable amount by the brake controlling unit; determining a recovery brake amount based on a motor generation limit and a battery charging limit by the recovery brake controlling unit; and controlling a brake oil pressure so as to generate an oil pressure brake torque as large as a value acquired by subtracting the recovery brake amount from the required brake amount of the driver according to the determined recovery brake amount. The brake control method further includes a step of generating a recovery brake torque based on a maximum recovery allowable torque after a recovery brake torque is equal to the maximum recovery allowable torque.
