The invention concerns an arrangement for positioning of a grinding disc relative to the position of a regulating disc in a centreless grinding machine. In order to simplify the feed system of the regulating disc and enable continuous precise grinding of the workpiece, the machine contains a pickup 13 which indicates the position of the regulating disc 2, and elements for influencing the control system for feeding of the grinding disc 1 as a function of the positional indication of the pickup 13.
