A device for producing disc-shaped products from kneadable material has a stock vessel for the material and a slider which is located underneath the stock vessel and can be moved to and fro and which has at least one cut-out for receiving the material supplied from the stock vessel in a defined position of the slider, wherein the cut-out communicates with a space existing above the slider and containing the material, and a chamber is present on the side of the slider facing away from the space containing the material, in which chamber a reduced pressure can be generated in such a way that, in operation of the device, the cut-out in the slider communicates simultaneously with the space located above the slider and containing the material, and with the chamber.
