PURPOSE:To prevent generation of surging phenomena by a method wherein the flow amount of suction gas is controlled in constant by the pressure detectors of an inlet of suction gas and an outlet of discharging gas as well as the returning line of a condenser equipped with an outlet flow amount detector and a surge control valve, both provided for the compressor. CONSTITUTION:When the load of a main turbine 1 is decreased and the amount of consumed gas is reduced, the ratio of the suction gas pressure of the low- pressure compressor to the discharging gas pressure of the high-pressure compressor or a compression ratio is lowered, or the discharging flow amount of non-condensed gas into atmosphere is decreased, the compressor is controlled by the compressor inlet pressure detector 14, the compressor outlet pressure detector 18 and the compressor outlet flow amount meter 17 and the surge control valve 15, equipped in the returning line of the condenser 5, is opened. According to this method, the gas is returned to the condenser 5, the flow amount between the condenser 5 and the compressor 11 is controlled in constant to prevent the surging phenomena of the compressor and thereby permitting stabilized and highly reliable operation of a turbine plant. |
