The invention relates to a device for locking the individual sections of a telescopic mast, in particular a telescopic lattice mast, which can be successively extended and retracted. The advantage of the device according to the invention lies in the fact that it is arranged protected inside the telescopic mast and can be operated from the foot end of the telescopic mast. The device according to the invention is characterised in that it comprises: a) locking devices which are attached to each extendable individual section and come to bear, in the locking position, on supports of the next outerlying individual section, b) a guide bar which is arranged centrically with respect to the lowermost, fixed section and is firmly connected thereto and which has closing cams which come into engagement with the locking devices of the movable individual sections upon extending the respective section in the desired positions, and c) movable control elements having opening cams which are attached to the periphery of the guide bar and can be moved upwards upon successive retraction of the individual sections, in order, by engagement with the locking devices, to withdraw the latter from the supports. t
