摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve an effective lubrication of a turbocharger without the need of increasing an overall lubrication oil, quantity, by arranging such that a more quantity of lubrication oil may be supplied to a turbine side bearing which is susceptible to the influence of heat generated by a turbine, as compared to an inflow of lubrication oil to a blower side bearing. CONSTITUTION:A lubrication oil branch passage 12 communicating with a turbine side bearing 5 which is more susceptible to the temperature increase of a turbine housing 9 is arranged to have a cross-sectional area greater than that of a lubrication oil branch passage 13 communicating with a blower side bearing 6. In consequence, more lubrication oils may flow to the turbine side bearing 5. Because a float metal 14 has its lubrication oil port 15 tapered, a carbon deposit which adheres to the lubrication oil port 15 as a result of a carbonizing phenomenon may be removed, being influenced by the pressure change caused by the variation in temperature and speed.
