PURPOSE:To enable to vary the damping capacity in accordance with the loaded weight by providing a piston rod with a hollow part and furnishing orifices to connect the hollow part with an upper oil chamber and sleeves to open and close the orifices. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 9 is provided in its one end with a hollow part 13 consisting of a large diameter part 11 opened to a lower oil chamber 8 and a small diameter part 12 above. In the hollow part of this small diameter part 12, orifices 14 are provided to be connected to an upper oil chamber 7. Between the small diameter part 12 and the large diameter part 11, sleeves 15 to freely open and close orifices 14, to be slided against both of the small and the large diameter parts 12 and 11, and to form a dashpot with little capacity change at the high speed of a piston rod 1, are provided via elastic means 17 and 18 from above and below. |
