PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatize the washing process and to evacuate air from washing members quickly and completely by a simple equipment, by a method wherein in a method for washing a fluid pipe passage by circulating the sponge-like washing members in a fluid pipe, the evacuation of the washing members is performed by the agitating action of a washing member circulating pump. CONSTITUTION:Sponge-like washing balls 10 in a ball collecting device 8 are introduced into a ball catching device through a ball circulation line 11, bypass lines 20 and 21 so that the balls 10 are partially evacuated and then returned to the ball collector 8. After repeating the above cycle properly, the balls 10 are circulated repeatedly through the circulation line 11, the bypass lines 20 and 22 and the ball collector 8 by switching a valve. In this case, the balls 10 are evacuated by being agitated by a ball circulation pump 7 so that the air contained in the balls is removed completely. Thus, it is possible to evacuate the balls quickly and accurately without requiring much labor. |
