PURPOSE:To obtain a favorable washing effect and to save energy by a method wherein the washing device for the condenser is subjected to a feedback control through a control signal representing the number of washing members detected by a washing member calculating device, thereby making a constant number of the washing members flow through the inside of a cooling pipe all the times. CONSTITUTION:The washing device is operated in such a manner that a grid 15 of a washing member catching device 3 is held in a catching condition by means of a drive device 11 for the collector, a valve 13 is opened, a washing member circulating pump 4 is started, valve 12, 24, 14 and 10 are opened and the washing members are put into a cooling water inlet pipe through the washing member calculating device 19. The, when the total number of the washing members 8 passed through the cooling pipe 2 reaches a predetermined value, the operation of the washing device is terminated. The termination of the washing device is effected in such a manner that the valve 14 is closed, the valve 10 is closed while valves 23, 28 and 27 are opened after the washing members 8 are received in a washing member collector 5. Then the valve 14 is opened and the washing members 8 are stored in a washing member storing device 20 while the number of the collected washing members is detected by the washing member calculating device 19. In this case, all of the valves of various kinds, the washing member circulating pump and the drive device for driving the grid of the washing member catching device are controlled by a microcomputer connected to the washing member calculating device 19. |
