PURPOSE:To know clearly optimum design condition and the range of the external condition in a short time, by deteriorating an error bit rate and finding an S/N versus error bit rate under the condition at that time, and then converting the deterioration into S/N, and finding a factor to the converted value. CONSTITUTION:When facsimile communication is performed through a telephone circuit, the conditions of efficient transmission for the communication are found. An error-bit-ratio versus S/N graph is outputted finally by numeric calculation. This graph moves in parallel toward inferior S/N. The amount of deterioration obtained by representing the extent of said movement as an S/N value is adjusted so that the occupation amount of each deterioration factor is proper, finding the optimum design conditions and the range. There are the influence of various approximating methods, modulated vector arrangement, various automatic control systems and their parameters, transmission quality, etc., for each communication speed and whether the found optimum conditions are realized or not is checked. |
