PURPOSE:To obtain a fishing bait preservable for a long period, by immersing a river worm in a solution having antiseptic activity to impregnate the solution in the body of the worm, and drying the impregnated river worm. CONSTITUTION:A living river worm such as the larve of stone fly, dayfly, etc. is immersed in an antiseptic liquid such as vinegar for a definite time interval to effect the sufficient impregnation of the vinegar in the body of the river worm, which is taken out of the liquid and dried spontaneously or forcibly in the shade for about 5min until the vinegar attached to the surface of the worm is evaporated to dryness. |
