<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the carbon master batch of a rubber, quality thereof is high and through which stable operation is enabled, by kneading rubber latex and its coagulant and carbon black in a screw extruder having a self-cleaning function. CONSTITUTION:Rubber latex, carbon black and the coagulant for the latex are kneaded in the screw extruder having the self-cleaning function. The master batch of the rubber obtained through the method is cut and crushed mechanically, and changed into the powdered rubber master batch with 5-100 meshes or mean grain size of 0.15-4mm., thus manufacturing the rubber master batch having excellent workability. The method can apply to the latex of a natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers, but it can also apply extremely effectively to the latex of a chloroprene polymer or a copolymer, which has strong tackiness particularly and through which a scorch phenomenon by heat is easy to appear.</p> |
