PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING STABLE TITANYL SULFATE SOLATION

摘要

Prepn. of a stable titanyl sulphate (II) soln. reacts a titaniferrous-bearing material (I) in an amt. of above 10-400% of the amt. needed to react with H2SO4 to provide (II), with a 25-60 wt.% soln. of H2SO4 at below 140oC. The prepn. is cooled to below 110oC without ppth. of (II), and then diluted with water and/or titanyl sulphate soln. forming a product(A). Undissolved solids are then removed to obtain a stable (II) soln.
