PURPOSE:To smooth the operations in a continuous preparing process for laver sheets, by means of detachable engaging metallic fixtures having such a structure as to adjust the shrinkage and extension of reed screens for laver sheets in stretching the reed screens on stretching frames. CONSTITUTION:In using a structure for engaging reed screens for laver sheets, a handle 11 is rotated a little in the direction of arrow (m2) in mounting the structure, and a reed screen (M) is engaged with engaging parts 4 and 4' for the reed screen (M). A handle 9 is then rotated a little in the direction of arrow (m1) to stretch the reed screen (M) suitably, and springs 8 are adjusted to an optimal tension by sliding the handle 9 in the space of a bracket 10. Engaging part 5 and 5' for the reed sreen (M) are then engaged with the reed screen (M). In removing the structure, the handle 9 is slidden in the direction of arrow (u) against the springs 8, and then rotated a little in the direction of arrow (m1) to remove the engaging parts 5 and 5' for the reed screen (M) easily from the reed screen (M). |
