The nozzle comprises an internal tube (1) and an external tube (3) which are electrically conductive, and an electrically insulating member (5). The tube (3) projects in front of the tube (1). The internal surface of the front end part of the tube (3) and the front end part of the internal surface (10) of the member (5) define a skirt-type surface (6). The rear end (11) of the part of the tube (3) defining the surface (6) and the front face (7) of the tube (1) constitute a pair of spark electrodes (12, 13). The face (7) is situated behind the face (9), which improves the reliability of the ignition. Application to oxygen-cutting torches. <IMAGE>
