<p>NEW MATERIAL:L- Tyrosyl-L -seryl-L -alanyl-L- asparaginyl-L- seryl-L-asparaginyl- L-prolyl-L-alanyl -L- methionyl-L -alanyl-L-prolyl-L- arginyl-L- glutamyl-L- arginyl-L-lysine. USE:Radioimmunoassay of somatostatin 28 used for the assay by labeling the terminal L-tyrosine in the side chain of the somatostatin 28 with radioactive iodine. PROCESS:An alpha-amino acid having a protected amino group is linked to an alpha- amino acid having a protected carboxyl group by the conventional method for the peptide synthesis in the sequence of the aimed peptide to form peptide bonds, e.g. an active ester, mixed acid anhydride, solid-phase method, etc. one after another, and the protecting groups are then removed to give the aimed peptide.</p> |
