PURPOSE:A skin cosmetic having improved appearance, stability, safety and good usability, obtained by adding fats and oils obtained from the seed of Chinese tallow to a base. CONSTITUTION:Light yellowish brown semisoid fats and oils containing triglycerides of plamitic acid, oleic acid, etc. as a main component and higher unsaturated fatty acid such as linoleic acid, linolenic acid, etc. as a subsidiary component, obtained from the seed of Chinese tallow, is added to a base. The fats and oils are used as an oil component for an oily cosmetic such as lipstick, foundation, stick pomade, etc. or an oily component or emulsifying auxiliary for a milky cosmetic such as cream, milky lotion, etc. and about 0.01-20wt% of the fats and oils are blended with the base. The addition of >20wt% fats and oils is not preferable because of the bad smell of the fats and oils. |
