PURPOSE:To permit a constant quality automatic winding by providing a movable jig flange coaxially with a winding jig to control the precise feed of a spindle of a winding machine and the jig flange on the basis of numerical value set in a counter. CONSTITUTION:A wire 2 is supplied from a bobbin 4 and taken up into a coil by rotating a winding jig comprising a jig flange 1a with a motor 7 through a tensioning device 5 and a wire guide 3. Then, the rotation of a spindle 6 of a winding machine is detected by a rotation detector 8 which supplies the output to the input of a control 14. And the control 14 controls the rotation of a motor 7 and a pulse motor 12 on the basis of the result compared with numerical value preset in a multistage counter so that the jig flange 1a is precisely fed axially by the rotation of the pulse motor 12. Also, the output of a contact detector 13 for detecting the contact between the jig flange 1a and the wire 2 controls both motors 7, 12. |
