PURPOSE:To prevent picture distortion without electric power loss, by connecting a transistor (TR) in parallel to part of a resistance of a voltage dividing circuit, and impressing a DC voltage obtained by detecting the beam current of a CRT to the base of the TR. CONSTITUTION:A resistance 27 is connected between the secondary winding 24 of a horizontal output transformer 22 and an earth point, a resistance 29 is connected between a variable resistance 14 and the earth point, and the pnp TR28 is connected in parallel to the resistance 14 to supply the voltage of the resistance 27 to its base. When the beam current of the CRT increases, a voltage drop across the resistance 27 increases and the collector current of the TR28 increases to raise the voltage across the resistance 29. Then, the voltage impressing to a voltage control circuit 10 rises, so an output voltage Vi drops. For this purpose, the rate of the drop is adjusted through the resistances 27 and 29 to correct distortion on the screen. |
