PURPOSE:To provide an electric discharge recording sheet capable of realizing coloring expression of plural colors only by the difference in voltage, obtained by a method wherein a first color layer is formed on one surface of a transparent carrier substate while a light color layer, a matte second color layer, a matte metal vapor deposition layer and a surface protective layer are formed on the other surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by kneading a spreading agent and a size agent with a black pigment is applied to one surface of a transparent carrier substrate such as a plastic film in a uniform thickness of about 1-3mum to form a first color layer 2. On the other surface of the aforementioned carrier substrate, a light color type color layer 3 with a low m.p. and a thickness of about 2-6mum such as a white layer is applied and a composition obtained, for example, by kneading a spreading agent and a size agent with a red pigment is applied onto said color layer 3 in a thickness of about 1-3mum to form a second color layer 4 of which the surface is made matte. On this color layer 4, a matte metal vapor deposition layer 5 and, according to necessity, a surface protective thin coating layer 6 are further formed to constitute a discharge recording sheet. According to circumstances, paper 9 is adhered to the other surface of the first color layer 2. |
