A vehicle air conditioner in which separation of air in an air channel is suppressed to increase the volume of airflow , reduce noise, and improve air mixing characteristics to maintain comfortable temperature regulation characteristics. The vehicle air conditioner (1) is of an air mix type in which airflow passing through a bypass channel (14) and a heating air channel (13) is mixed in an air mix region (15) located in downstream of an air mix damper (6) and the mixed airflow is led to a foot outlet (19) by a foot channel (18) provided behind a partition wall (2A) forming the heating air channel (13). At an end (30), which forms the exit of the heating air channel (13), of the partition wall (2A), there are provided a mixing promotion section (50) and an introduction section (60). The mixing promotion section (50) allows airflow, flowing along the partition wall (2A), to flow out toward the air mix region (15). The introduction section (60) is contiguous with the mixing promotion section (50) and smoothly guides the mixed airflow to the foot channel (18).
