PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for retransmission processing and to decrease the transfer loss of a remote file transfer system, by performing detection of a failure of transmission control and the retransmission processing accompanied with the generation of a failure of transmission control by a block of a small scale group. CONSTITUTION:A master station exchange 1 and a remote station exchange 2 are connected with a transmission line 3, the remote file transfer instruction from a type TTY is received at a central controller CP of the exchange 1, and the content of one block of a backup memory file BFM is added with a start address and transferred to the exchange 2. The exchange 1 transmits the content of the file BFM to the exchange 2 sequentially one by one block. The information is decoded at a remote station control circuit RCTL receiving this information, information relating the self-control devices is applied to a self-control circuit 4 to control a line concentrator LSW and a subscriber line LC. The control circuit 4 performs the detection of a fialure in the transmission control and the retransmission processing accompanied with the generation of the fialure in a block of small scale group, allowing to reduce the time required for the retransmission processing. |
