PURPOSE:A hair cosmetic for preventing dandruff, capable of regulating properly the metabolism reaction in the scalp tissue so that the occurrence of dandruff can be effectively prevented, having safety to the skin, capable of applying sufficiently a necessary amount of it, containing a sulfur-containing amino acid or its hydrochoride. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic for preventing dandruff, such as hair tonic, hair liquid, milky lotion for scalp, hair cream, shampoo, etc. contains >=0.1wt%, preferably >=1wt% sulfur-containing amino acid such as methionine, cystine, cysteine, etc. or its hydrochloride based on a total cosmetic composition, and further may contain common components such as oil component, surface active agent, humectant, alcohol, viscosity builder, antiseptic, ultraviolet light absorber, colorant, perfume, etc. The sulfur-containing amino acid or its hydrochloride is less expsensive than a vitamin A acid ester of vitamin E well-known as an agent for preventing dandruff, a necessary amount of it can be sufficiently applied because of water-solubility, and it has no problem in terms of safety as an antimicrobial agent has. |
