A poultry feedstuff contains a minor but effective amount of sorbitol, preferably 0.01 to 5% wt. The sorbitol is believed to act as an emulsifier for lipids in the feedstuff, and preferred feedstuffs have higher than normal lipid contents (e.g. 2.5-20% wt.). |
