PURPOSE:To display the picture correctly, by using the output of the same counter for an input signal of a vertical deflection driving circuit and a thermal cathode selection driving pulse generator, and eliminating the shift in the synchronism and the phase between the vertical deflection signal and the thermal cathode driving signal. CONSTITUTION:The vertical deflection driving circuit 38 generates vertical deflection driving signals (v), (v') in accordance with the output of count of a horizontal pulse counter 37. Further, the thermal cathode selection circuit 39 generates a selection pulse selecting the thermal cathodes 2a-2p of each section and deciding whether electron beams are generated or not. Further, a line cathode selection circuit 40 converts the selection pulse at signals a'-p' required for the driving of the 2a-2p, and a thermal cathode selection and driving pulse generating circuit 41 generates a driving pulse to make the circuit 39 generate the thermal cathode selection pulse. The circuits 38 and 41 use the same count output from the counter 37 as the input signal, allowing to eliminate the shift in the synchronism and the phase among the signals (v), (v'), the line cathode selecting driving pulses and the signals a'-p'. |
