PURPOSE:To transmit numbers of pieces of information through less data transmission lines, by detecting the period when there is no data on a data transmission line on the basis of the timing of a detected frame signal, and sending a digital code. CONSTITUTION:A frame code outputted from a signal generating circuit 11 is supplied to a gate 15-1 and an output control circuit 10-1 through a data transmission line 12-1. The frame code supplied to the gate 15-1 is outputted to a data transmission line 12-2 and thus transmitted similarly and successively. When the frme code is detected by, output control circuits 10-1-10-3, and digital codes are inputed from input terminals 9-1-9-3 respectively and they are stored in their storage circuits temporarily. The circuits 10-1-10-3 detect the periods when there is no data on the data transmission lines 12-1-10-3 on the basis of the detected timing of the frame signal and send the stored digital codes out of the storage circuits to the data transmission lines as serial data at the detected timing. Consequently, the need for a control signal trnsmission line is eliminated. |
