PURPOSE:To obtain a pigment supplying device of a printer which supplies accurately and automatically only a necessary quantity of pigment when a vessel such as a glass bottle is printed, by connecting a temperature-pressure controlling device to a hot melt applicator, and a discharge timing controlling device to a discharge gun. CONSTITUTION:A hot melt applicator 1 and a discharge gun 2 having an air- operated valve 12 inside are connected to each other through the intermediary of a hose 5. A controlling device 6 having a temperature adjusting mechanism and a pressure adjusting mechanism is connected to the hot melt applicator 1. A printing rotation speed detector 10, a signal generator 11 amplifying a signal delivered from the detector 10, and a discharge timing device 7 supplying compressed air intermittently in synchronization with a signal generated from the generator 11 are connected to the discharge gun 2. By this constitution, melted pigment is supplied intermittently to a screen 3 synchronously with a printing speed. |
