The bed has a frame base which supports a mattress, and which is divided into at least three pivotable sections. A first end section is pivotable between horizontal and upwardly swung positions. A further end section can be raised or lowered, and an adjustment mechanism is provided for regulation between the different positions. The bed legs each have extension parts which can move in and out of the legs telescopically under the effect of a drive. |
