<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized device, by allowing a guide arm which turns to move a tension arm to a tape engagement position through the turn of a loading ring to standby to the position where it does not engages a tape before loading. CONSTITUTION:The tension arm 23 engages the tape 2 in sound recording/playback mode shown in the figure, and an arm 22 for tension detection turns to a position where force applied from a tension spring 25 to the tension arm 23 balances with tension from a pay off tape reel to the tape 2, detecting tape tension. When the tape tension varies, the tension spring is compressed or expanded through the turn of the tension arm 23 and the arm move until it balances with the force from the tension arm. When neither sound recording nor reproduction is performed, the loading ring 3 is turned clockwise and a specifying guide 31 on the ring catches a guide roll 26a to turn the guide arm 26 clockwise, so that the tension arm 23 returns to an unloading position.</p> |
