PURPOSE:To prevent toner from scattering out of a cleaning device, by extending one end of an air regulator plate up to filters, dividing a suction passage for the toner into two upper and lower passages, and coupling those suction passages to the upper and lower filters respectively. CONSTITUTION:One end of the air regulator plate 21 is extended to a filter assembly 22 and the suction passage is divided into the upper passage 23 and lower passage 24 including a cleaning brush. The filter assembly 22 is partitioned into two upper and lower stages by a partition plate 42 and the upper and lower suction passages 23 and 24 are coupled with them respectively. Therefore, toner scatters to the upper passage 23, bit by bit, from between the air regulator plate 21 and a photosensitive drum 4, but the upper passage 23 has a suction device independently of the lower passage 24, so the scattering of the toner to the outside of the cleaning device is prevented securely. Consequently, the dirtying of an erasing lamp, grid of a corona electrifier, etc., is prevented securely to obtain improve picture quality. |
