PERMEABILITY TESTING METHOD OF FILTER CLOTH FOR DUST COLLECTING FILTER APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To measure a permeability in the state that a filter cloth is fitted to a dust collecting filter apparatus, by sucking with a vacuum pump by bringing a sucking cup into close contact with the filter loth to be measured and dividing the flow rate obtained when the pressure is held constant by the area of the sucking cup. CONSTITUTION:The sucking cup 2 is brought into close contact with the dust collecting filter cloth 1 and sucked by the vacuum pump 6 through a pipe 5. The pressure is measured by a pressure gauge 8 through a pipe 7 and the pressure is held constant by controlling the sucking pressure with operation of a valve 11. The flow rate is measured by a flow meter 10 in this state and divided by the area of the cup 2, thus the permeability per unit area is obtained. The permeability under wind pressure to be used practically can be measured while leaving dust (a) adhered to the cloth 1.
