HYDRAULIC JACK A hydraulic jack comprises a piston and cylinder combination and a hydraulic fluid reservoir mounted on the piston and cylinder combination. There is a chamber between and communicating hydraulically with the piston and cylinder combination and the reservoir. A pump and valve unit is slidably received within the chamber. The unit comprises a pump conduit connecting the reservoir to the piston and cylinder combination, a pump for transferring fluid from the reservoir to the piston and cylinder combination through the pump conduit and a check valve for preventing a reverse flow of fluid from the piston and cylinder combination to the reservoir.
