PURPOSE:To make editing work easy, by synthesizing a picture film to be trimmed for trimming section, number and the number of frames, recording it on a magnetic tape, forming the editing data and operating a telecine device based on the data. CONSTITUTION:A cinema film 1 is pictured in a telecine device 2 in the 1st process to form a screen of letter box type and a trimming mask from a pattern generator 4 is superimposed on it. The mask includes various trimming data. Then, an output picture from a TV camera 6 is as shown in Figure and recorded on a tape 8. In the 2nd process, the tape 8 is reproduced on a TV12. The editor 15 inputs the trimming data while observing a reproduced screen and a data forming device 13 writes the data on an FD16. The edited data are used as control data of a telecine device 31 for trimming in the 3rd process. The device 31 converts the data into the standard picture while cutting a part (4/9) of the screen corresponding to the data and outputs a TV video signal. |
