PURPOSE:To adhere cleaning web to a core bar efficiently and securely, by adhering the cleaning web to a payoff or take-up core bar by thermal fusion. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a fixing roll 1 which contacts a toner image is offset with toner T and the web 7 moving in the opposite direction to the moving direction of the peripheral surface of the roll 1 cleans the toner where the web 7 contacts the roll to secure excellent fixation. The web 7 moves bit by bit against the rotation of the roll 1 every time one copy is taken, so that new web 7 comes into press contact with the roll 1. The web 7 uses a mixed sheet of aromatic polyamide paper and polyester and the core bars 6 and 6 use materials enough resistive to high temperature such as aluminum; and both ends of the web 7 are brought into contact with the core bars 6 and 6 and held at 270-300 deg.C for a specific time, and polyester melts out to adhere both ends to reverse surfaces of the core bars. |
