PURPOSE:To give flexibility to expansion by forming a contact surface with the interpolar connecting wire of a spacer to a concave section of a radius of curvature larger than that of the interpolar connecting wire. CONSTITUTION:The curvedly formed interpolar connecting wire 2 connecting field winding 1 is fitted between field winding 1. The spacer 8 is set up adjacent to the interpolar connecting wire 2 on the outer side of the interpolar connecting wire 2 so as to prevent outward movement by centrifugal force in the B direction of the interpolar connecting wire 2. A contact surface with the interpolar connecting wire 2 of the spacer 8 is formed to the concave section of the radius of curvature E larger than that C of the interpolar connecting wire 2. Accordingly, the inside of the interpolar connecting wire 2 does not bend at an acute angle because a curved section 6 at the central section of the interpolar connecting wire 2 extends along the radius of curvature E when the interpolar connecting wire 2 extends in the radial direction by thermal elongation by centrifugal force and conduction.
