PURPOSE:To extract only picture information in a designated region and to output it, by key-inputting an address of a required region, converting it into a main scanning address and a sub-scanning address of a scanner, inputting it to a control circuit, and comparing the address with the scanning address of an actual scanner. CONSTITUTION:Picture information (h) only in the designated region on an original 2 is outputted from a picture information selecting circuit 5, and when the sub-scanning position of a scanner 7 reaches a Y3 position, since a designated address is coincident with the sub-scanning address of the scanner 7 from an address memory 4, a control circuit 6 makes a skip signal (e) to ''H''. Thus, the scanner 7 starts high speed scanning again, and the scanning is finished when the scanner reaches the end position of the original 2. Thus, the picture information (h) of required part only is extracted from the original 2 from a picture information selection circuit 5 and outputed to a processing circuit of the next stage. |
