Optical brighteners, suitable for the fabrics made of linear polyester, polyamide and acetyl cellulose, were prepd. The optical brighteners were a mixt. of 0.05-0.95 wt.% I (A = O- or p-cyanophenyl) and 0.95-0.05 wt.% compd. among the formulas II-VI (n = 0, 1; X = O, S; R1, R2 = H, F, Cl, Ph; B =CN or cyclic groups; R3,R4 = H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, hydroxyalkoxyethyl; R5 = alkyl, alkoxyalkyl; R6 = substituted aryl, substitutable 1,2,4-triazol-l-yl phenyl, heterocyclic group; R7 = H, alkyl, alkoxy; R8 = polycyclic radical; R9 = substituted amino group, alkoxy; R10 = Cl or R9; V = -C6H4-,-CH=CH-, etc.).
