PURPOSE:To prevent an overflow of a tracer memory, by writing the writing timing to the tracer memory together with the timer value when a signal to be traced varies. CONSTITUTION:When either one of signals 101-10n to be traced and stored has a change, the values of these signals and the count value 18 of a counter circuit 4 of that moment are written to the address of a tracer memory 8 which is shown by a memory address 16. In such a way, the signals 101-10n are written to the memory 8 together with the hitherto time (count value) with each change of these signals and while a valid signal 11 is kept at ''1'', i.e., until a fault is detected. This prevent an easy overflow of the memory 8. |
