The pipe is produced in such a manner that two semi-circular shaped halves (1,2) are extruded and corrugated, and then joined with a non-corrugated hinge section (3). After formation, the material, which is pref. plastics, is heated, and the two semi-circular halves are brought together so that the corrugations clip together. - The corrugations are symmetrical so that they form rise spaces for water which can run in the pipe halves via slots or recesses (6,7) which are produced before the pipe halves are folded together and joined.
