PURPOSE:To perform switching between a high and a low level speedily and securely, by impressing a power supply potential to load elements on a data line when the high level is commanded or an earth potential when the low level is commanded. CONSTITUTION:For example, low-level data is written in a memory 10 through a data line 13A and high-level data is written through a data line 13B. A control signal P2 is supplied to the gates of transistors (TR) 12A and 12B, which are turned on to hold the data lines 13A and 13B at the high level. At this time, a signal C2 having the power supply voltage is supplied to both TRs 12A and 12B to obtain a sufficiently high potential. Then, the TRs are turned off to hold the data line 13A at the low level. At this time, when the signal C2 having the earth potential is supplied, the data lines 13A and 13B are held at the sufficiently low potential. Consequently, the switching between the high and low levels is performed speedily and securely. |
