PURPOSE:To ensure good low-voltage and low-temperature characteristics for a contant voltage power supply circuit containing plural stabilizing circuits which deliver different levels of voltage, by connecting a diode to an output terminal so as to secure electrical conduction to the high voltage side from the low voltage side. CONSTITUTION:When battery voltage VB is high sufficiently, a stabilizing circuit 11 of high voltage side and a stabilizing circuit 12 of low voltage side output prescribed levels of voltage 8V and 5V, respectively. When the VB is dropped down to a prescribed level (about 10V) or less and set at about 6V, the output of the circuit 11 is suddenly lowered down to 0V. However, the circuit 12 keeps its prescribed level (5V), and this voltage is applied to a terminal (a) of the high voltage side owing to the conduction of a diode 15. Therefore, the voltage of 5V is held although the output of the circuit 12 is set at 0. The supply of power is possible until the voltage VB is dropped down to about 2V. |
