PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of a chain and promote the flexibilty of its use, by providing one of a pair of facing link plates with a tapered hole in which a tool is fitted and by providing the other with a pull stud bolt section for holding the tool at the end, so that the tapered hole and the bolt section are separate from each other. CONSTITUTION:A tool holding section 5 is secured by a nut 13 etc. on one link plate 2 of a chain. A pull stud bolt section 24 is secured by a nut 23 etc. on the other link plate 2' of the chain. To hold a tool different in shape, length or the like, the pull stud bolt section 24 is exchanged or its position is changed by a spacer 25. The rigidity of the pair of link plates 2, 2' is supplemented by a stay pin 26. |
