PURPOSE:To improve the weather resistance and preservation stability of a recording paper by employing a clacium carbonate with a specified oil absorption level as surface-treated by silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide as coloring component of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper is composed of a coloring agent component obtained by surface treatment of calcium carbonate with an oil absorption level of 70-100ml/100g according to JISK 5101 with an electron accepting coloring substace and an electron donating component. Here, SiO2 and Al2O3 are used for the coloring agents and arranged to exist on the surface of calcium carbonate at the SiO2:Al2O3=2-5:1. Depending on case, zinc salt may be added as coloring content, where the ratio of SiO2+Al2O3:ZnO=5-10:1. The total quantity of the coloring agents used shall be 3-8pts.wt. with respect to 100pts. wt. of calcium carbonate. |
