PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of the transparency of a double-layered glass door for heat insulation due to dew condensation on the outer glass even in case of a large temp. difference, by interposing a heat insulating transparent synthetic resin film between the 2 sheets of glass to divide the space between the 2 sheets of glass into a plurality of chambers. CONSTITUTION:The sliding door of a refrigerating showcase or the door of a refrigerator is provided with a double-layered glass structure A consisting of 2 sheets of glass 2, 2a, and a heat insulating transparent synthetic resin film 3 having vapor-deposited layers 5a, 5b of a substance having an infrared-ray shielding effect such as Al or Ag is interposed between the 2 sheets of glass to divide the space between the 2 sheets of glass into chambers 4a, 4b. Even in case of a large difference between the temp. of the inside of the double-layered glass A and the temp. of the outside, the temp. of the inner divided chamber is close to the temp. of the low temp. chamber, and the temp. of the outer divided chamber is close to the temp. of the open air. Accordingly, dew condensation is not caused on the outer glass, and the transparency can be maintained. |
