PURPOSE:To perform printing on layered papers, by providing independent paper feeding mechanisms for each of at least two sheets of paper and at least two ribbon mechanisms, and providing an arrangement in which ribbon, paper, ribbon, and paper are overlapped in this sequence in printing part of a printer. CONSTITUTION:Roll paper 1 for receipt is intermittently fed forward by paper feeding rollers 3 and 4 through a guide roller 2 bit by bit. Meanwhile, roll paper 6 for journal is wound around a winding reel 11 through a guide roller 7, paper feeding rollers 8 and 9, and guide rollers 10 and 10'. The two pairs of paper feeding rollers 3 and 4 and 8 and 9 can be operated independently one another. Therefore, the paper feedings of the receipt paper 18 and the journal paper 21 can be performed independently and arbitrarily at any time. |
