PURPOSE:To make easier and to promote the attaching and removing of a work, by providing a chuck member which is clamped to the front end of a rotary shaft by a spring and is unclamped by the application of pneumatic pressure. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 2 and a piston 3 are attached to the axial end of an rotary shaft 3. A holding member including a core 9 and a chuck member 10 is provided to the front end of the piston 3. The piston 3 is urged by a spring 5, for clamping a work 24 such as, for example, a lens. Compressed air is fed through an air supply port 20 upon unclamping, and therefore, the piston 3 is raised. The holding member is rotated together with the rotary shaft 1 by means of pin 15 so that the work 24 is processed. Thus, the attaching and removing of the work is simply and rapidly carried out. |
