TRANSFER TYPE THERMAL RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer type thermal recording medium with an excellent gradation recording property by coating a base material with a hot melt ink of a low melting point containing coloring material in the form of a microcapsule or the like after dispersed in a high-melting point binder. CONSTITUTION:A microcapsule 6 containing a low-melting point material such as coloring material, wax, oil and the like is applied on a base material 1 after dispersed in a high-melting-point binder 7. In the thermal recording medium thus obtained, ink is divided so finely all over it to increase the transfer of ink onto a paper 3 for receiving image according to gain in the temperature from an outside device such as thermal head 4. Thus, paper gradation level can be obtained.
