A fastening arrangement for the contact pins 15 for large and small current intensities for use in plate- encapsulated electrical systems consists of a housing 16 of electrically insulating material, in which the contact pin is arranged in a continuous rectangular hole 29, guided and possibly secured by contact holders 23, 24, which are secured in mutually opposing grooves made in the wall of the hole. The housing 16 has boreholes 21 for clamping the housing to a mounting plate or to another corresponding housing 36. Between the clamped housings it is possible to install an intermediate insulating plate 28. Furthermore, there are other boreholes 22 which can be used to secure a curved contact pin 15a, by means of a bolt 30, which can also secure a cable shoe at the same time. In this way, one achieves a firm fastening arrangement for a contact pin, such as a rectangular copper bus bar, for large current intensities, such that the contact pin 15b constitutes a male piece. The arrangement is used to bring electric current from the bus bar field to a mounting plate in a plate-encapsulated electrical layout. With the help of the contact holders 23, 24, one can use contact pins of different width in the same housing 16 by merely moving the holders of the contact pins. <IMAGE>
